Its been a couple of years since Emma has taken the lead of the mansion after the disappearance of Professor Xavier and Jean. The Xmen are coming back together and trying to get back to some form of normalcy. It's hard at first what with the old students returning and new students arriving. But in all, everything is starting to move along smoothly.
Insert MRD. The Mutant Response Division is being funded by the government to round up mutants and register them into a database for the government to keep track of them. They have begun catching mutants and locking them up against their will. Even worse, they have mutants working for them as well.
So with the new threat rising, the Xmen must learn to work together to defend the school and all of mutant kind against the growing threat.
